There has been a MCC Thrift shop in Swift Current since 1978.  For many years the shop sold furniture as well as clothes and household goods.  However to address a growing need, in May 2009, the Swift Current  MCC  Furniture Store opened at 417 N. Railway St. E., a rented space with street level access.  The shop continues to thrive and serve Swift Current and the surrounding areas with the region’s best used furniture.

In 2013 we were voted the best not-for-profit business in Swift Current, winning the SCBEX award.

The success of our thrift store rests solely on our 70+ caring,committed and passionate volunteers and the generous donor community.

Our goal is to send at least 50% of total sales to MCC Sask.

We also support local charities as well as meeting needs in our community
