Why do you volunteer at MCC?
After the Second World War me and my family lived in a refugee camp. In there I received kit from MCC that contained products for school and personal hygiene. On the outside of the package it said “In the Name of Christ” I knew whoever sent this was special and I knew from then on I would love to volunteer there.
Any advice for future volunteers?
If you want to be a volunteer at Kildonan MCC you would have to be committed to time. You should do whatever you needed to do or ask what can be done. All you need to do is do a good job. You’ll love it and the people you will meet. “I love doing what I do” - Frieda
